Meet the Charlotte counselors at Modern Era Counseling

Our guess is you didn’t become a therapist because you wanted to work in a stuffy agency setting and spend your days teetering on the edge of burnout.

If you’re anything like us, you’re not in this field just to coast by. You became a counselor to do life-changing work. To help people optimize their way of being alive in the world. To connect with exceptional people who share your passion for the craft of therapy. To grow not only as a therapist, but as a person. And to find meaning and purpose in the work that you do

Founded in 2018, Modern Era Counseling is a thriving group counseling practice in Charlotte, NC. Our providers share a common vision: a Charlotte where everyone can feel secure in who they are and enjoy meaningful relationships with others. While we work with clients of all ages, we especially cater to young professionals struggling to navigate life in the modern world.

Our practice values include leveraging community, deepening our craft, humanizing therapy, and advocation for marginalized populations. Our team is made up not only of excellent clinicians, but also amazing people, and our culture of clinical collaboration and relationships further strengthens our work with clients.
