As someone who intimately understands the weight of living with ongoing difficult life circumstances in a world full of people who truly can’t understand, I offer a genuinely unique therapy experience rooted in empathy and honesty. I don’t take your commitment to this process lightly and aim to provide a safe, empowering space for you to grow.
We can’t always decide the cards we are dealt. There are so many things that life thrusts upon us: our genetics, our parents, a devastating life event, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and so much more. What we can control is how we choose to live with these things.
Partnership is key in my counseling practice. You know your mind and body better than anyone, which will give us the insights we need when working together. Our work will be centered around utilizing your personal strengths to bring light to the growth you’ve been wanting to experience while also acknowledging and accepting that which feels unacceptable. The radical acceptance of self leads to authentic, long-lasting growth.

Why I became a counselor
Ever since I was young, I wanted to dedicate my life to making a real difference, but I didn’t know how. All around me, there were people struggling within themselves, their pain going unnoticed, invalidated, and dismissed. All the while, they were quietly suffering. And that suffering didn’t stop with any one person. It spread like wildfire through the lives of others. It corroded relationships and dissolved hope.
As someone who has always been attuned to others, this was hard to watch and even harder to heal from. Becoming a counselor for me was not only a career choice but a calling. Now, with my gifts, history, education, and experience, I have become the counselor who will walk alongside you in your darkest time and help you move from suffering to self-love and acceptance. Simply put, I became a counselor because I’m committed to helping people face their suffering and come out stronger than ever before.
Off the clock
When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, paddle boarding, gaming, exploring new places, and contra dancing.
